Pullisherry - Kerala Receipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of grated coconut,
  • 3-4 green chilies,
  • 1 teaspoon of crushed ginger,
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds,
  • 1 cup of curd ( beaten),
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds,
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder ,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1 stream of curry leaf,
  • 4-5 red chilies,
  • Coconut oil for cooking.

Steps

  1. Blend coconut, cumin seeds, green chilies and ginger in a food processor. Remove and keep aside.
  2. Heat coconut oil and splutter mustard seeds, curry leaf and red chilies. Add the blended content to it. Stir nicely over flame.
  3. Add the battered curd and then stir under no flame.
Remove and serve with rice.
