This is an awesome vegetarian dish. There are immense nutritional benefits of bottle gourd. The combination with coconut is truly yummy.
- Improves digestion,
- Controls body temperature,
- Controls blood pressure,

- Contains carbohydrates.
- 1 medium sized bottle gourd de skinned and chopped,
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds,
- ¾ cup of grated coconut,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder,
- Mustard oil for frying.
Remove and serve with rice/chapatti as per your convenience. Enjoy the awesome taste.
- Heat mustard oil in a frying pan. Add mustard seeds to it, allow blistering.
- Add the bottle gourd, cook for 10 minutes till he vegetable becomes soft and releases water. Add salt and turmeric powder to it.
- Add the grated coconut to it. Stir till the mixture becomes even.
